INFORMATIVE FACULTY ~ The School of Education was established in 1970. They have an enrollment of 800, with 375 students in masters and PhD programs. Their teacher certification system differs from the US. They have an arrangement with the government to provide special university programming to the indeginous populations throughout the remote areas of the Amazon.
